I always like to believe that you have a choice between doing the right thing and doing the wrong thing. The choice, however, is entirely up to you and how you run your life. I once heard a quote and it really struck with me and it was “With great power comes great responsibility.” That is how Sanjay Shah Denmark has lived his life along with his wife Usha. Make no mistake about it, everything they have in their life, they have earned and they deserve it. They are old fashioned in that way and I mean that as a compliment. They believe in the value of rolling up your sleeves, getting to work, and making things happen.
They have already had such names as Prince, Lenny Kravitz, Michael Bublè and Drake in London and Dubai. Those are some of the biggest names in the music industry and they have taken time out of their busy schedules to help Sanjay Shah and his wife Usha because they care about autism and they care about giving back. I have great respect for celebrities that do things like this. They don’t have to do it and no one is forcing them. They are doing it because it is the right thing to do. I’m a big believer in doing the right thing at all times, or at least as often as you can.
This year, they are going to have Tyga and Flo Rida before, as according to Sanjay’s wife, they want to go for a younger demographic, which I think is smart. If the youth learn more about autism and have a better understanding of it, maybe they can befriend an autistic kid and not treat them any differently. They can treat him like anyone else, invite them over to their birthday party and show them love, respect, and kindness. They deserve that, and it truly makes a difference in their lives.
At the end of the day, they just want to feel included and they want to feel like they are part of something and they are part of something that is special. This is a special event and I’m proud of Sanjay, his wife, and all of the performers for being part of it.
