Cancer Treatment Centers of America are now working together with NantHealth and Allscripts to provide a technical solution to clinics. Eviti, a clinical decision support platform that allows oncologists to instantly assess treatment regimens for patients, can now use the clinical work information from Allscripts Sunrise EHR. This allows for doctors and oncologists to assess and add information without disrupting the treatment process. Oncologists can now concentrate more on the process of treating the patient with the experience and data of hundreds of oncologists in the database of the clinical operating system of NantHealth.
The oncology clinical pathways give information about the optimal options for treatment. This saves time from research and guessing of the clinicians and keeps them ahead with new research data and the latest information on oncology. This helps create a specific regimen for each patient, depending on their condition by comparing the findings and results of different doctors in similar cases. Clinicians can gain supporting evidence on different therapies, the correct guidelines, the side effects and reactions to different drugs and toxicity levels of each therapy. This makes the treatment of cancer more clear to new doctors and saves time on guessing different factors of treatment in specific cases. Clinical pathways also speed the approval of insurance companies, due to the recorded efficiency of different clinical strategies.
